Report outages, receive updates and notifications with your smart phone or tablet.
Once you’ve downloaded our Power Pal app from Google Play or the App Store, you can select “Account Management” to “Add Account”. Enter your account number, then choose which notifications you would like to receive.
Outage Notifications – If an outage is reported that affects a group of members with your account included, you will receive a notification when Adams Electric confirms the outage. This is helpful when you are away from home.
Outage Update Notifications – If your account is part of a current outage, you will receive restoration updates. This is especially helpful during major storms.
Planned Outage Notifications – If a planned outage will occur which will affect your account, we will send you a notification. This may be helpful if you are trying to plan cooking, laundry, events, etc.
We suggest leaving all notifications turned on. This will allow you to receive all updates. You may adjust your settings at any time. If you have more than one account, be sure to “Add Account” for each service you maintain. You can name them (Example: Home, Grain Bin, Barn, Cabin, etc.)
Once you’ve set up your account, you will be able to report outages, view our outage map, and receive news and information. Even while you’re at work or on vacation, you’ll be able to check your “Service Status” to see if you have power at home.
